In my final year of studying Ceramics at the ANU I worked in the sculpture department making portrait busts under the tutelage of Ante Dabro.  The interpretation of the human form is central to my practice.  My exhibitions become installations based on themes referencing both the environment and historical art works and cultures.  Since 2005 I have had a studio at Strathnairn Arts Association.  For this latest show I am very grateful to have had the assistance of Rick Smyth in the studio.  I continue to work, part time, as a Visual Arts teacher.
